ALUMINA OXIDE MEDIA
Aluminum oxide is a stronger and harder type of abrasive
blast media that’s optimally used for descaling,
cleaning, roughening and rust-removal. Able to cut into
almost any type of metal, the chemical compound (a mixture of
oxygen and aluminum) is used in applications with no special
requirements and when loss of abrasive media is
inevitable.
Aluminum oxide is recyclable and used in both wet and dry
blasting. Its high density, reusability and angular
sharpness make it a cost-effective abrasive solution for a
range of sandblasting applications including grinding,
lapping, etching, deburring, cleaning contaminated surfaces
and more.
