LASER 3D SCANNING

The family of Gocator 2400 sensors, takes 3D measurement and inspection to the edge of technology's current capabilities.  When parts just have to be made to exact tolerances, such as in medically related equipment and components, or for most modern electronics, the high-performance Gocator 2400 series of 3D smart sensors exceeds requirements.
Equipped with 2 Megapixel imaging technology and an all new micro-processor, the 2400 series delivers very fast scan rates at the industry's highest X dimension resolution and superb Z repeatability of 0.2 microns.

VISION SYSTEMS FOR MANUFACTURING

To provide lots of application flexibility and at the same time deliver uncompromising measurement performance, these laser scanners can be ordered in either red or blue laser versions.

Gocator G2400 Tire InspectionWith the Gocator 2400 series of 3D machine vision cameras, measuring features on your products at the micron level does not mean you are stuck with a narrow field-of-view or FOV.  Because of the camera's 2 megapixel capability, you maintain a large FOV, enabling you to find defects that are very small in comparison to the product being inspected.

Faster scan and acquisition speeds empower you to speed up your inline process and use higher resolutions. It also means multiple exposures can be used to accurately measure high-contrast targets. With an X resolution down to 6 μm, you can generate data points even on very tiny edges or narrow gaps.

With the wide measurement range of the G2400 you can use fewer sensors to precisely record very fine details on both surfaces and edges.  The X resolution on some models is down to 6µm, scanning rates are available up to 5kHz, the field-of-view is as wide as 6.5 feet when measuring up to 5 feet away

Designed to be a system of independent sensors, untethered by controllers or PCs, the Gocator family of products easily scales to exactly the size you grow today using master hubs that handle power distribution, I/O, laser safety interlock, and synchronization at the microsecond level.

Any browser, on any computer, with any operating system delivers easy and flexible range configuration using the GUI that is integral to each Gocator smart sensor. There is no other software you have to install, just take the Gocator out of its box and you can quickly and easily set it up.
  

GOCATOR 3D CAMERAS

The Gocator family of products also includes other laser based 3D camera family models for moving targets named Gocator 1300Gocator 2100Gocator 2300Gocator 2500, and Gocator 2880.  For stationary targets, LMI has models of LED Structured Light cameras named Gocator 3210Gocator 3504Gocator 3506, and Gocator 3520.  Additional solutions are made for robot guidance and high speed image processing.
